hey people! guess what? i'm now a CERTIFIED SCUBA DIVER! now is that cool or what? me, derek and chitsian are PADI certified open water divers. those who are interested in joining us, try Opheus!

just how i feel about scuba diving:

many might think scuba diving is a dangerous sport to learn, i only have one thing to say - you'll never know how fun it is until you try it yourself.

i was scared, worried, nervous and not the least bit excited when we headed to pulau hantu for our first open water dive just last saturday (9thDec). i was overwhelming with regret and felt upset that i had no partner. (LOL.) but all changed when we actually jumped into the waters. seriously, it wasnt much difference from diving in the swimming pool, except that the visiblity of the water at pulau hantu was pathetic.

so, throughout the 4 dives at scuba hantu, i only saw sand, rocks and not a single fish. LOL. i still cannot believe someone was afraid to see a giant squid. (no offence!) i mean, i couldnt even see anything alive except for us down there!

anw, i really enjoyed the dives and i seriously cant wait to advance. it's pretty upsetting to know we have no more dive trips to look forward to anymore. =(

why you should choose Orpheus/learn diving:

they have really nice, friendly and humourous instructors. i like all my instructors! diving allows you to meet new people with the same interest as you - scuba. the price is reasonable. scuba diving is really exhilarating and as fun as any other sport on land, and it's a whole new experience.

my head now links scuba diving to friendly, humourous and sunny people, because that's what all the orpheus people are. =D
